How I spent my 30th birthday

What to do for my 30th birthday

Celebrated last night with dinner, awesome live music and cocktails, wine, vodka & diet Coke, Jagerbomb, vodka & diet Coke, sambuca, vodka & diet Coke, cup of tea. Bought 30 scratchcards. Gave one to the cashier. Scratched off the remaining 29. Won £7.

Spent this morning buying groceries for One Can Trust with my birthday money. Dropped off donations at the collection point in the pouring rain.

Picked out crossword/sudoku books and magazines at Tesco. (I asked Scott, “Where are the horse ones?” He answered, “In the food section, I imagine.” HA HA HA.)

Delivered magazines and games to residents at a nursing home.

Completed my 30 for 30 acts of kindness challenge. Cried in the car.

Talked about our five-year plan over Italian food. (Well, I talked about the next five years. Scott talked about the pepperoni to chili pepper ratio of his pizza.)

Supervised Scott making my birthday cake.

Waited patiently for my presents.

I’m ready!

List of my 30 acts of kindness coming up soon.
